For the initial source of inspiration, CAPS looked at Christian Lacroix’s complex fashion design work for the project. Layerings of colors, varied surfaces and shapes, and strong graphics all find themselves expressed in both the architectural vocabulary and the furnishings of the boutique. The project is perceived to be a landmark of Tokyo’s retail architecture.
